Microneedling, Explained
Microneedling uses a device with very fine, sterile needles to create tiny, controlled channels in the top layers of the skin. This works with your skin’s natural renewal process, which is why microneedling is popular for improving the look of skin texture and fine lines.
We use SkinPen®, an FDA-cleared microneedling device, when it is the right fit for your skin and goals.
Treatment areas can include the face, neck and décolleté. Your provider decides what’s right for you at your consultation.

Consultation first
Before your first treatment, we review your skin, health history and goals. Comfort options, like a topical numbing cream, are discussed before we start.

Your treatment
The SkinPen® treatment itself is typically brief once you are comfortable. Most people describe a light prickling or warmth. We go at your pace.

Aftercare & glow
Skin often looks pink or flushed for a day or so afterward, a bit like a mild sunburn. We send you home with simple aftercare: gentle skincare, skipping makeup for as long as your provider recommends, and daily sunscreen.

What is microneedling?

Do you use SkinPen®?
Yes. When microneedling is appropriate for you, we use SkinPen®, an FDA-cleared microneedling device. Your provider confirms the plan at your consultation.
Does it hurt?
Most people feel light prickling or warmth. Comfort options, including topical numbing cream, are discussed before treatment.
How much does it cost?
Pricing is set at your consultation. Ask us when you book — we’ll walk you through options that fit your plan. We accept HSA/FSA, Cherry, Affirm, CareCredit, cards & cash.
Who should not get microneedling?
It isn’t right for everyone. Please tell us if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have an active infection or breakout in the area, have a history of keloid scarring, or take medications that affect healing. Our nurse and Medical Director review your history first.
